CONDITIONING
The Houston Kenshikan is more than just a iaido and Kendo Dojo in Houston. We encourage our members to have an active and healthy lifestyle. Thus, in addition to Kendo and Iaido, we are proud to offer fitness coaching and training off the floor.
Kendo and Iaido alone, even at 2-3 times a week, is not enough to help one stay fit. Maintaining a commitment to proper diet and exercise is very important. Also, supplementing one's practice with strength and conditioning goes a long way to helping one perform in the Dojo.
At the Kenshikan, we have several members who are very active outside of the Dojo. With our combined experiences, we are able to provide workout routines that can be used in conjunction with Kendo and Iaido practice.
